The rehabilitation process requires a team of physicians and rehabilitation professionals working together to provide a comprehensive and fully-integrated rehabilitation program.   Inpatient teams led by board-certified physicians specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation manage each patient throughout the entire process of recovery.  Weekly care team meetings are held for each patient in which each member of the treatment team discusses the patient's progress, treatment plan and future goals. 

Carolinas Rehabilitation has the largest network of therapists dedicated to rehabilitation in the region. Many of our therapists are also certified in orthopaedics, spine, neurology, sports medicine, hand therapy, lymphedema, pediatrics and women's health.  Having such a team of professionals enables us to treat patients whose cases present a high-level of complexity while exceeding national standards in allowing patients to return home. 

Carolinas Rehabilitation's dedicated and experienced staff consistently stress our values of commitment, caring, integrity and teamwork.  We strive to be responsive, and as a result, we have earned 95 percent (inpatient) and 99 percent (outpatient) ratings from our patients who would recommend us to a family member. 

We maintain accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, made possible through the continuous efforts of our expert teams. 

In 2008, CARF (Commission on Acreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) awarded us a three year accreditation in 16 specialized programs.  We are also accredited a stroke rehabilitation program by CARF, one of the first rehab facilities in the nation to apply for a receive this special designation.
